Soft Sweetness of Clay
Inspired by the earth and the life it sustains, Clay is Lyn's translation of the landscape she found in Morocco's Haouz Valley. A refined amber wood with a nuance of gourmand.
Top notes of bergamot (Calabria), mandarin (Italy) and juniper (France) open onto a heart of orange flower absolute (Tunisia), which permeates and ignites the composition. Beneath sits a baked clay accord: charred woods and sandalwood for the soft sweetness of clay, ambroxan for its minerality, and a smudge of maltol to evoke the firing and the baking. Cedar wood (Virginia) is the prominent backdrop, and musk holds it to the skin.

Our everyday candle in smoked glass. Each 175g candle is hand-poured with a custom wax blend, natural fibre wick, and burns for up to 34 hours.

Made by one of the few traditional incense makers in Japan, who provide incense for the local Buddhist temples and monasteries.
